Since its formation the Forum has become involved in many other aspects of improving medical education and training as well as other challenges facing the Irish Healthcare system. The Forum has worked closely with the training bodies and is a conduit for careers in our member Colleges.
An initiative related to supporting the recruitment and retention of medical trainees is the annual careers day organised in partnership with HSE-NDTP and the Medical Council. This event is organised to ensure medical student and intern’s access can access career advice centrally.
